Greetings! It’s been a while since we last updated our website, but no need to worry! Our social media platform, has been buzzing with captivating tales from the field. And guess what? We have some exciting news to share with you! From the 14th to the 16th of July 2023, LINI will be participating in NUSATIC https://www.nusatic.id/, the grandest Indonesia Ornamental Fish & Aquatic Show ever .
For over a decade, LINI has been at the forefront of marine aquarium fishery improvement in Indonesia. We have tirelessly advocated for responsible practices and worked hand in hand with marine aquarium fishers to restore the very reefs they rely on for their livelihoods.
Since 2016, we have been dedicated to breeding marine fish species targeted for aquariums. Through training local communities and fishers’ families, we have empowered them to generate additional income by participating in aquaculture. Our ongoing study involves restocking captive-bred clownfish into natural reefs since 2022.
Indonesia holds a prominent position as a major supplier of global marine aquarium fish. Yet, there remains a scarcity of comprehensive data and information. That’s why we are thrilled to announce our participation in the NUSATIC International conference, where we will unveil an innovative online platform called MAPI. MAPI aims to make the marine aquarium fishery in Indonesia more accessible, showcasing the industry’s efforts in promoting legal and responsible fishing practices while fostering connections with likeminded companies.If you have a passion for fish, whether marine or freshwater, NUSATIC is an event you cannot afford to miss!
