Hello
Tri Wahyu Prabowo
Robotic Developer
About Me
Wahyu plays a key role in advancing marine conservation through the development of an underwater robot. His work focuses on developing a robot equipped with planting mechanisms that help restore vital marine ecosystems by planting seagrass and coral. Wahyu joined LINI in January 2023 as an intern, and his role evolved as he contributed to the enhancement of the robot's systems. He supports innovative projects focused on coral and seagrass planting, while also conducting research to develop advanced technologies for 3D reef mapping and AI-driven coral classification using the robot's camera. Wahyu holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Brawijaya, where he built a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of robotics. Specializing in computer vision and electro-mechanical systems, he brings a unique skill set to his work. Wahyu and his team focus on integrating the robot’s components to continuously improve its effectiveness in conservation efforts. Beyond his technical expertise, Wahyu is a certified open-water diver, which deepens his connection to the ocean and strengthens his dedication to leveraging technology for sustainable marine environmental solutions.
