LINI’s Community Development program is a dedicated initiative aimed at empowering coastal communities throughout Indonesia. Our primary focus lies in capacity building, collaborative management, and the promotion of alternative livelihoods to nurture sustainable livelihood. We firmly believe in amplifying the voices of coastal communities , ensuring their valuable knowledge and needs are integral to ocean management decisions. Our program goes beyond marine aquariums, encompassing fisheries improvement projects, eco-label certifications, and comprehensive support  across diverse Indonesian communities.

Our commitment extends further through the institutionalization of Capacity Building. By facilitating community groups to unite and provide support among their members, fostering collaboration with various stakeholders such as NGOs, government institutions, academia, and industries, we equip communities with the skills and knowledge necessary for sustainable practices. Our approach is deeply rooted in local realities and aligned with social and political dynamics, preparing communities to actively participate in the management and conservation of marine resources. This holistic strategy ensures a harmonious balance between conservation efforts and socio-economic development in coastal areas.
