Jenana Putra was born and raised in Bali, specifically in Ubud. After graduating from Senior High School in Gianyar, he pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering at Telkom University, earning his bachelor's degree in 2019. In the same year, after graduating from Telkom University, he continued his studies at Institut Teknologi Bandung, focusing on control systems. He completed his Master's degree in 2022. During his Master's studies, he was involved in developing an obstacle detection and avoidance system for a Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Glider. In addition to work with underwater robots, he also gained experience with aerial robots (drones) as part of the requirements for his bachelor's degree. In 2023, he joined LINI as an intern. At that time, LINI was collaborating with an overseas startup to build a robot for seagrass planting. After three months internship, he was recruited as a Robotic Developer based in LINI Aquaculture and Training Center (LATC) . His current focus is developing the seagrass planting robot and designing a framework for generating 3D maps using an underwater robot.
